About Jackie Ogden, PhD.
Jackie Ogden, PhD, is a skilled executive with expertise in building strong, adaptable organizational cultures in both the conservation and corporate worlds. Jackie is the principal and founder of Natural Leadership LLC. She recently retired from Walt Disney Parks and Resorts, where she served as Vice President, Animals, Science and Environment for the global parks’ team. She has been active in zoological leadership for over 30 years on the national and global stage including serving as Chair of the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA), and has received the AZA’s Marlin Perkins Lifetime Achievement Award. She has successfully blended the achievement of the organizational mission with business metrics, focusing on building strong organizational cultures, particularly those aimed at simultaneously reaching business, conservation and environmental goals. Dr. Ogden possesses skills in executive coaching, organizational assessment and design, diversity and inclusion, strategic planning, field conservation, animal welfare, environmental sustainability and education planning and assessment. In addition to having her own consulting and coaching firm, Dr. Ogden also serves as senior counsel with Zoo Advisors, a premiere consulting firm in the zoological community.
